I provide both translation and interpreting services in any combination of these three languages. My activities are regulated by Act No. 354/2019 “On Court Interpreters and Translators”.
You can find my name in the Ministry of Justice’s official Register of Court Translators and Interpreters and I am a member of the Chamber of Court Translators and Interpreters of the Czech Republic. I am a holder of Master’s degrees in Pedagogy and in Public Administration.
I work with Ministry of Justice bodies (courts, public prosecutor’s offices), the Ministry of the Interior -including the criminal police, the foreign police, the traffic police, and traffic inspectorates. My services are also used by notaries, lawyers, commercial companies, and individuals.

Price
The price of a written translation depends on the type and content of the document and on the delivery deadline. Once quoted, the price never changes, even if the target text turns out to be longer than originally expected.

Are you a certified (sworn) translator with a round official seal?
Yes, I am. Since 2015, I have been a certified translator of Czech, English, and Russian with a round official seal of the Czech Republic. I am registered in the official Register of Certified Translators and Interpreters of the Ministry of Justice of the Czech Republic. I am a member of the Chamber of Certified Translators and Interpreters of the Czech Republic.
How do I order a certified translation?
Each order must be entered into the electronic Register of Certified Translations of the Ministry of Justice of the Czech Republic and receive a unique registration number.
For this purpose, the following customer’s details must be entered into the Register:
- first and last name of the individual/legal entity;
- date of birth/legal entity ID number;
- the address of the individual (in any country) / the registered address of the legal entity.
I need a printed certified translation (hard copy). What do I have to provide you with?
According to the Czech law, I must bind the document with the translation and, therefore, make holes in it with a hole punch. There are three options. An official translation can be bound with:
- the original document,
- an officially certified copy of the document (from a notary, Czech Point counter of the Czech Post, or the local authority (úřad),
- a photocopy or printout of the document in digital (electronic) form.
Please note: You first need to find out which of these options is acceptable to the authority to which you are submitting the certified translation.
Do you make certified copies of documents?
No, I don’t. In the Czech Republic, certified translators are not authorized to certify the accuracy of document copies. I am only responsible for the quality of the translation. If the translation cannot be bound with the original, you need to bring me or send by post an officially certified copy of the document.
